Seeking Investment Capital

 

Investor Forums The INNOvators NETwork continues the service created by its parent the Opportunity Capital Corporation of providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to present an outline of their project to a group of local investors by means of an Investor Forum. These presentations take the form of a brief (15 to 20 minutes) outline of their business plan followed by a question and answer period.  Investors are not identified to the entrepreneur; but rather they may, if interested, approach the entrepreneurs after the Investor Forum to arrange further meetings independent of the INNOvators NETwork. Presentations will be screened prior to the meeting and only entrepreneurs who have properly developed business plans will be introduces to the investor group.  Entrepreneurs whose projects are less developed will be counseled and referred to local agencies who can assist them in business plan development and presentation skills. The Investment Group comprises individuals and firms having an interest in the start up and growth of technology oriented businesses and is open to any individual or firm sharing this interest.  Please contact the coordinator if you wish to be included in invitations to Investor Forums Cautionary Note The INNOvators NETwork acts solely as a facilitator to bring entrepreneurs and potential investors together.  It is the responsibility of the entrepreneur to safeguard proprietary information and intellectual property.  Likewise investors are cautioned that the INNOvators NETwork is in no way an agent for the entrepreneur, is not an advocate of the project or responsible for the reliability of information presented by the entrepreneur.  Potential investors must conduct their own due diligence.
